I should have signed up for lynda.com a long time ago! I am so good at watching tv! Right now I am watching PHP tutorials so that I can make my own WordPress theme. Also, I thought I had a project that required updating a PHP shopping cart system, but it turned into something less entirely.
The best part about video tutorials is that watching them doesn’t seem to take as much concentration as reading a book (perhaps because the videos are less in-depth). It’s also nice to be able to hear someone tell you what to type instead of looking back and forth between the monitor/keyboard/book. If there were a way to bookmark & skim through a video, lynda.com would be perfect!
