Regarding the little PHP personal finance app that I made: please don’t download and use it yet*! I hadn’t tested it, and only tried using it (for real) today. It’s rather broken… I thought the lack of MySQL errors meant that everything was good-enough to go. :’(
Is there a systematic way to learn debugging?
Also, I think I will have to learn Javascript. I can’t avoid it anymore! I have been running away from the DOM & cross-browser craziness for the past 8 years but I need the pfinance pages to stop bouncing around from the POST/GET requests. :’( :’( :’(
