My hair usually takes several hours to dry; with a hairdryer, the time would be cut down to 30-45 minutes. It was easier to cut my hair really short.

But this summer I wanted to grow my out. And the feeling of wet hair on a humid day was killing me. And I was wandering around, lost in Target, when I ran into the hair dryer aisle. The hair dryers were so much more aerodynamic than my old hairdryer! And they were filled with New Technology! Ceramic! Ions! Tourmaline! I had to give hairdryers another chance.

It turns out that this new hairdryer technology is real! & it’s magic! With my new giant blue hairdryer, my hair (now shoulder-length) dries in less than 10 minutes! And it’s not nearly as puffy.

My only complaints are that the cord is a little short and the dryer’s kind of loud. I wish I had read some reviews first and gotten the 213x instead of standing in Target for half an hour, comparing the features of 30+ hairdryers. They say the 213x is quiet. Plus, it comes in black.
